Ministry

Opportunities for ministry TO PEOPLE and THROUGH PEOPLE takes place in various forms through Sunday School and Children's Church, our Worship Team, Leadership Training, Bible Studies and fellowships for youth, college and adult men and women.

The World

International Outreach Ministries

New Covenant partners with International Outreach Ministries to provide regular short-term opportunities for cross-cultural service, primarily in Costa Rica. We presently have one family serving in Africa: Dean and Autumn Jordon in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Kenya Ministry Training Institute (KMTI)

For over 10 years New Covenant Church has partnered with KMTI to assist them in their mission to train Kenyan pastors and leaders. They have now grown into Uganda and founded UTMI. Their concept, mission and strategy is unique and proving to be very fruitful.

Pastor Bill travels yearly as a guest teacher and aid to Missionary Larry Neese and School Director George Waffula. It also affords the opportunity for short term mission opportunities in building projects and service to the school and people of Kenya.

Several young men have traveled with Pastor Bill through the years and contributed to the partnership with KMTI.

Sunday Morning Prayer

Every Sunday morning at 10:00 am, before the Sunday service, the ladies meet in the room to the left of the front of the sanctuary for prayer for the church, the pastors, the body of Christ, and whatever God lays on their heart. Open to all women.

Casserole Kitchen

The first Saturday of every month, the church is in charge of the Casserole Kitchen ministry held at the First Presbyterian Church in Starkville. Volunteers cook casseroles, serve meals and clean up. Dean and Autumn Jordon

Missionaries to the Democratic Republic of Congo With International Outreach Ministries.

One night while a missionary with IOM was speaking, as the offering plate was passed, Dean put his name in and said that he would give himself to serve. God opened the doors 15 years ago and Dean, Autumn and their children have been serving Him in Congo. Over the years their children have grown and gone and now it is just Dean and Autumn serving. Dean started out in the capacity of helping the then current leader with the financial aspects of the ministry, but with a change, Dean took on the training of young pastors in Congo, to equip them to teach and preach the Word of God. So every year, pastors come to be trained at the Biblical Training Center of Congo in Lowundji.

"Teach reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others."
2 Timothy 2:2

Support them through New Covenant Church. Memo on the check for Dean and Autumn Jordon.
